On Friday morning, 30 December 2011, Blaenffos and Boncath Area Committee in conjunction with Menter Iaith Sir Benfro held a walk led by Hedd Ladd Lewis. The tour started in Boncath Hall and then went on through the Ffynone Valley before finishing off in Ffynone Arms Inn, New Chapel for some ‘Cawl’ and carol singing.
A group of 28 people attended through the wind and rain.The money collected on the walk will go towards the area Appeal Committee for the Urdd Eisteddfod which will be held in Pembrokeshire in 2013.
